The Sleepless Beginning Summary

I started writing this book a few years ago. I've decided to post it to the internet to see if people like it, and just to get out there and try something new.

Here is the summary of my book.

Life happens while you’re living it, you never know where life will take you. Jaycee is reminiscing her fondest memories, and regret of her ex best friend Desmond, whom she loved deeply, and is now to be married. As a young girl Jaycee meets Desmond who is her new neighbor, as time goes on Jaycee, and Desmond become inseparable. Without realizing it, Desmond falls in love with Jaycee, and she continues to date other men putting Desmond in deep remorse. Eventually Desmond stays in the friend zone, and helps Jaycee go through dealing with an abusive boyfriend. With Desmond's new chance he does everything he can to finally let Jaycee know he’s loved her for years, while all a long Jaycee has had the same feelings for Desmond. Both not realizing it, both continue to date others. Ryan who is a family friend to Jaycee comes into her life, and makes his way into her heart. Every night she spends with Ryan, Jaycee finds herself withdrawing from Desmond, and falling for Ryan.  A relationship filled with love, but yet never on the same page. As she and her three years old daughter go through a divorce, memories come fluttering back to the very beginning when Jaycee made her biggest mistake and picked the wrong man. During a regular work day, a semi truck comes crashing her whole world down even further. Jaycee slips into a comma, and finds herself back at the young age of eighteen. The very age she left her past love of her life, Desmond, and is now forced to relive the days before she makes the biggest mistake of her life twice. Not everyone has a second chance, what will Jaycee end up doing with her second chance? Will she pick her best friend who loved and adored her, or will she make the same mistake twice and pick her soon to be ex husband who stole her heart all those years ago?
